I was contacted by a parent, agreed to tutor her son, had a free assessment meeting, delivered a lesson but then had great difficulty getting the money paid into my account. The parent was delighted with the lesson and wanted to continue with tuition but I was unwilling to allow Superprof to take further money from her if they weren’t going to pass the fees (minus 10% commission) to me.

Superprof is a nice platform to connect with tutors on various subjects. The tutors I was in contact with both were professional and we had interesting and fun lessons. I'm only giving 3 stars because it's never clearly stated on the superprof website how their business model works and what you pay for. Superprof provides easy way to find students.
